Dear Mr Sidfrids
Our four month imprisonment with hard labour is now ending & I can again communicate with the outside world.
I had a letter from Mrs Murray to say you had renewed the Selhurst lease for one year for which I thank you & also for the help you gave her.
I probably have many more months of hard work before me, may I ask you to communicate with Mrs Murray on any little matter her address will be either

The local taxes should be paid by me, if this has not been done would you pay them for me. I am well & strong, thank God, only always hungry.
